During my last week visiting in Arizona, we went to the Grand Canyon. I have been there at least seven times, but it’s one of those few places that is way more incredible in person than in the imagination. Now that I’m in California, I hope to start training on the weekends so that maybe next spring I can hike down to Havasupai Falls.

After two years teaching in Korea and four months on the road in Southeast Asia, I’m finally back in the states. I have about two more weeks in Arizona before I move to the Bay Area where poverty and all nighters await me.
